Nagore Robles opens up about her biggest struggle: "I find it hard to talk to people"

Isolation has many faces, and that of Nagore Robles is someone who, despite being surrounded by screens and followers, feels profoundly alone. The television personality and influencer has opened her heart on social media to confess a battle many will recognise: the loneliness of living in a city, working non-stop and realising that, little by little, she is losing her social skills. According to 20minutos.es, Robles has described her situation with a phrase that perfectly sums up anyone's fear: "At this rate it's going to cost me even to speak to any person".

2026 marked by change

For Nagore Robles, 2026 will be remembered as one of her most difficult periods. After ending her relationship with Carla Flila at the end of 2025, the influencer has thrown herself completely into her professional career, seeking to grow in a sector as demanding as television and social media.

However, that intense work focus has come at a price: disconnection from the world around her. "I interact little, I live alone and I'm far from the city centre and my friends", she confessed on Instagram. Her schedule leaves no room for what many of us take for granted—a casual conversation, a beer with people, or simply being accompanied for reasons other than work.

Sport as a lifeline (almost)

Aware of the problem, Robles has tried to find solutions. She recently signed up for a sports club with a swimming pool and, most importantly, one that offered group classes. Her intention was clear: to take up swimming again and, at the same time, surround herself with people in a relaxed environment.

The plan seemed perfect on paper. Reality, however, was more complicated. In her first class, the facility staff member treated her in a way she herself described as "cold". The icy tone almost convinced her not to return, given her vulnerable emotional state.

An unexpectedly positive ending

What could have been the depressing end of another loneliness story surprisingly turned out to be a turning point. Despite her insecurities and the bad initial experience, Nagore stayed in the class. And when it ended, her perspective had changed.

"At another moment I wouldn't have gone back to the class, but I enjoyed it, even if I didn't like the instructor so much", she explained. What's interesting about her reflection is that she understood something fundamental: she doesn't need everything to be pleasant to enjoy herself. The fact of doing sport in a group, of being surrounded by people, of being in motion—that was already enough.

With that renewed determination, Robles has decided to keep attending the group classes, regardless of the club staff's attitude.

A reflection of contemporary loneliness

Nagore Robles's confession touches a nerve that many Spanish people recognise: the paradox of being connected but isolated. She lives in a city, has millions of followers, but spends her days alone. It's a portrait of a generation that has normalised working without rest, that feels guilty for needing human connection, and that sometimes discovers too late that social skills, like any muscle, need to be exercised.

For now, Nagore will keep swimming. She'll keep going to that group class where she doesn't like the instructor. And perhaps, little by little, she'll rediscover that talking to people isn't so difficult after all.
