The controversy surrounding Chenoa's pet has escalated to unexpected levels. Just as the singer and television presenter launches the second season of Dog House, her show on La1 to promote responsible dog adoption, a woman from the Canary Islands has filed a police report claiming that Chloe, the dog Chenoa adopted a year and a half ago, is actually her missing pet that disappeared in April 2024. Now, after maintaining initial silence, the artist has broken her muteness with a statement that settles—according to her—any doubt about the animal's identity.

A complaint with very specific characteristics

The complainant claims her pet, which she called Lola, disappeared over a year ago and asserts there are unmistakable features that make her "easily recognisable". Among these, she highlights heterochromia in the eyes—each eye a different colour—a characteristic white mark on the forehead and muzzle, and a particular way of walking. Convinced it is her animal, the woman has chosen to appeal to the authorities and has specifically requested a DNA test to confirm or definitively rule out that Chloe is Lola.
